TITLE: ONLINE BLOOD BANKING SYSTEM

Online blood banking system is a multipurpose project designed to implement effective and easy interaction among the blood donors and receiver's.

Objective:  To allow smooth interaction between blood donors and receiver's specially for scheduled operations and thalassemia patients.

The project consists of two portals one for the admin: The doctors and the users : the donors and receivers who are registered on the site.

Life saver system is a web application developed for blood donations. This consists of two set of users, Administrators and Blood Donors. Administrator login is created for chief doctors in major hospitals which run this web application. Blood Donors who are willing to donate blood have to register in the system. While registering the donors are requested to give the details such as Blood Group, Available days when the user can donate blood, Location, etc.

When blood is needed for a person, then the corresponding administrator should add the details of the patient such as, Patient name, Blood group, Location of the hospital, etc. The system will automatically analyze the list of donors who can donate blood for a particular patient. Then the system compares the location of the person and the hospital where the patient is admitted. Then the system compares the day of blood needed and the day's availability of the donor.

Finally for the qualified donors E-Mail will be sent to their personal Mail Address and a mail will be dispatched to the donor login page of the system. If the donor is interested in donating blood then he can login to the system to see the full details.

Several donors may be interested in donating blood and it may create confusions. So, once a donor reaches a hospital for blood donation. It should be updated in the system. Then the system will automatically send Email to all the remaining donors that their need is fulfilled

Just as the doctors are able to surf the details of the donors and choose the right donors from the lot. Similarly, the donors who are registered can surf through the details of other donors and connect to them directly.

Eg-  Let us assume that 5 donors are registered.

Donor A    AB+

Donor B    O+

Donor C    A+

Donor D   O+

Donor E    B+

Now donor E needs Blood group O+ for maybe his relative or friend.

So he can search the registered donors for the right blood group and connect to them through email.

Search pattern would be based on the blood group and the location of the donor.

So in this case the search results would be Donor B & Donor D.

Further short listing would be done on location basis also.

An email would be sent to Donor B & Donor D requesting their approval and informing them about the details of the donation like Name of hospital, Patient name, Contact no, Hospital address etc.

  • Beside every student will have their own portal where they can share notes and links to educational videos and blogs which can be viewed by all the students who have registered on the website for free use by all the students.
  • Every student who wishes to buy a book can send a buy request and add the product to his schoolbag.
  • Every student who is selling the book can confirm the sale and sell the book to the student.

A message regarding the time and venue from where the book can be handed over will be sent

Through a message.

  • Online chat service so that students can chat or send messages to the seller of the book.
  • Students meet and exchange books freely or on cost.
  • Based on a model similar to OLX or Quikr.

 

 

Name of the project: Inventory traffic

management system  to avoid accidents.

Based on educating the driver to help them follow safe driving standards and 

reduce risks to accidents.

This system consistes of 3 things: 

- A Sensing instrument

-  A web application designed using windows azure

- A windows phone application name  Travel Safe.            

The project is divided into three phases:

Phase 1- AVOID ACCIDENTS

In this phase the vehicle has a sensing instrument that senses the speed of the vehicle , acceleration, 

deacceleration and provides safe driving guidelines.

- A web application that can run on windows 8 phone and a speed sensing instrument.

- This instrument actually uploads all the details to the cloud about the location of the car, the car 

number and the way the car is being driven. (About the Speed, acceleration, deaacleration)

- The application will show the traffic of a current place on the phone screen. Three shades can be 

used Green- for smooth running traffic  Blue-For congested traffic moving with a low speed and 

Red-for no or very little movement in the traffic.

- Based on the traffic condition the driver will drive the car.

- The application will have four divisions

- Example- for green speed limit is 80km/hr : for blue speed limit is 60km/hr : for red speed limit 

is  40km/hr

- If the driver drives according to the specified status then its fine else there will be a beep on the 

sensor instrument.

- If the driver crosses all limits and is driving rashly their will be a continuous beep and a message 

will be sent to the nearest police station, insurance company & relatives.

- The application shall also provide information about the dangerous turns and accident zones.

Phase 2 : IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT

In this phase we will deal with a situation where an accident has already occurred.

- A microprocessor will sense the accident based on high levels of impact on the vehicle and send 

a message to the local hospital and relatives about the current location of the vehicle. 

- An ambulance will immediately be deported to the accident site.

Phase 3:  TRAFFIC ON THE ROAD.

On an average a person comes to know that there is an ambulance on the road when the ambulance is 

actually behind his vehicle. On an average the time limit is 10-18sec. which is not enough for the vehicle 

to move out of the way and keep the roads clear for the ambulance to pass easily.

- A gps system that tell the others drivers the position of the ambulance 3 minutes before which 

gives them enough time to move out of the way. (using the windows application)

This project would be highly beneficial to the following people:

- To the parents of a concerned teenager about his driving.

- To the local traffic police in managing traffic and reducing the number of traffic accidents.

- To the insurance companies who provide car insurance.

- To the driver who is driving the car.

- It helps in improving the driver's performance as they quickly train themselves to stop the 

buzzing of the device.
