H.O.D. (ECE) 


I am an Engineering Graduate of 1966 batch from PEC University of Technology , Chandigarh (Formerly Punjab Engineering College). I did my Post Graduation from IIT Kharagpur in 1981, topping the course. I completed my PhD in Electronics in 2009.

Being fellow of IETE, I also earned a certification of 'Certified Value Specialist' (CVS) from Society of American Value Engineers (SAVE), USA. Having served the Air Force for more than 30 years, I have experience in various types of Electronics & Telecommunication Systems related to aircraft avionics, guided missiles technology and signals intelligence.

I have served the Electronics Industry for 5 year involving marketing and trials of Electronics & Communication Engineering Equipment.

I have teaching experience of more than 15 years as on date which includes three and half years at Air Force Technical College, Bangalore and the remaining at Dronacharya College of Engineering,Gurgaon since Sep 03.

Working as HOD (ECE) at DCE, I have been teaching subjects like Semi Conductor Devices, Antenna and Wave Prorogation, Optical Communication System, Microwave Engineering and Radar & Sonar Engineering to ECE students.

My area of Interest/Research includes Optical Communication and Radar Engineering.

I always stress upon my students to make their fundamentals clear and have hands on experience in their Labs to correlate Theory with practicals. My aim is to raise the overall standard of our students so that they are able to prove their worth in whichever organization they join after passing out from DCE.
